Evidence of Outdoor Poison Use

Postby PoC » Fri Apr 05, 2013 3:07 pm

Often times in parks and outdoor areas near cities there is a lot of use of chemical toxins for one purpose or another. Anyone who looks for food in these areas must be wary nowadays. When outdoors I often spot areas that stick out like a sore thumb because herbicides have been used. This thread will serve as my repository for pictures taken of such areas.

Here's a couple pictures from a nearby park - the Wapato Greenway State Park. These blackberry brambles have been devastated and very little new vegetation lies in its wake so far. Spotted a few mullein and other tough weeds out there but nothing substantial.

Just around the corner I took this picture of some blackberries growing as they do normally.

The same park also sprays something to kill mosquito larvae. I wonder what they use, where they do it, and if they used a helicopter in this instance.

Right out the front steps. Awfully suspicious looking.
